2年ほど前から撮影を続けて参りました、短編 [Water Baby] の続編となる長編ドキュメンタリーフィルム [Pacific Mother] を完成させるべく、''産み"と"海"という二つのテーマに相応しい2021年7月22日"海の日"にクラウドファンディングをスタートします。

それに伴い、7月22日海の日に皆さんのバースストーリーをSNSやブログでシェアしてみませんか？勿論私も参加します。

母親の数だけ、出産の物語があります。そのどれもが美しく尊いものです。

自分が産まれた時の話、自分が産んだ時の話、なんでも構いません。年齢、性別問わず、誰しも必ず持っているバースストーリー。

For the past 18 months, under Covid restrictions and all, I’ve been working on a feature-length documentary film, Pacific Mother, as a sequel to the short film, Water Baby.

In Pacific Mother I connect with amazing, strong ocean women from around the Pacific, who are raising their babies to protect Mother Nature.

Through their eyes, we will see that when women feel supported emotionally, physically and culturally, they are more likely to have a positive birth experience, no matter where it takes place.

We are excited to be launching our Japanese crowdfunding campaign on July 22nd, Marine Day, and will be encouraging our Japanese followers to share their birth story - whatever that means to them.

Our English crowdfunding campaign will follow a month later.
